Annual Meeting Set for July 14 & 15
The 2017 Annual Meeting of Pea River Electric cooperative will be Friday and Saturday, July 14 & 15.
The annual meeting will be held in two sessions to accommodate the greatest number of cooperative members. A business meeting will be held Friday, July 14 at 7:00 p.m. at the Flowers Center in Ozark. The Flowers Center is located at the intersection of East College Street and Carroll Avenue in Ozark. The purpose of this business session will be to discuss and pass on reports of the previous fiscal year, receive annual meeting and operational reports, and any other business that may be properly presented. Registration for the Friday night session will begin at 6:00 p.m.
The Saturday information sessions on July 15 will be conducted by the director of the respective district, along with cooperative employees, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 12 noon. Members attending the Saturday sessions will receive a copy of the manager’s report as well as the financial report for the previous year.
All members are welcome and encouraged to attend whichever of the sessions that is most convenient for them.
Each member who registers in person at either the Friday or Saturday sessions will be given a $15.00 credit on the following month’s electric bill and a door prize. At the close of the annual meeting, each registered member will have a chance at winning one of the three grand prizes, which are outdoor electric grills.
Remember: You must register in person to be eligible for the $15.00 credit and to be eligible for the prize drawings. All cooperative members will be receiving a registration card in the mail prior to the meeting. Members should bring this card with them to register at the meeting. There will be no early registration during working hours on Friday, July 14.
