Cooperative Operations Adjusted During COVID-19 Pandemic

Due the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, Pea River Electric Cooperative's office will remain closed to walk-ins until further notice, to help reduce potential exposure to the COVID-19 virus for our employees and our members.  Our Drive-Thru window remains open for members to make payments or transact any other cooperative business as needed. 

Other payment options available to members include payments by phone using the automated system. Online payments can be made using our website or through our mobile app available for Apple and Android devices.

Another way we are trying to keep our employees and our members safe is by adjusting our workflows with safety in mind. Some of the changes we’ve made include:

-Staggering outside crews work schedules
-We are allowing crews to report directly to assignments rather than checking in at an office.
-Engineering/Operations members who can work from home are doing so.
-We have provided laptops to employees who can work remotely to ensure critical functions and processes can continue.
-We are encouraging all members and employees to practice social distancing and good hygiene.

We continue to monitor this everchanging national emergency situation as it develops and to adjust our plans accordingly.  We pray that all of our employees and members will remain safe during these trying times.
